Not sure you've heard Donna Hall before? Bet you have. An original member of the Southern Rock group Wet Willie, she has been belting out tunes for around three decades. "The Williettes" was the name given to the back up singers of the band and Donna proudly holds the crown for being one of the originals and the only "constant" Williette since the 1970's. Donna found herself working for "the man" (Capricorn Records) early in life. The opportunity positioned her to sing back up for artists such as Grand Funk Railroad, Marshall Tucker Band, Kitty Wells and Greg Allman among many others. Her distinctive voice, gospel inspired with a twist of rhythm and blues, can be heard on many familiar hits such as Wet Willie's "Keep on Smilin'". This page is a photo album of that time. "Back in the day" when the only thought was music. Enjoy! (more photos coming soon) |
